Lettre de témoignage

Wesley Whitehouse

Director — Whitehouse Tennis Academy, New Zealand

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Wesley Whitehouse, a former professional tennis player and current Director of Whitehouse Tennis Academy in New Zealand. During my professional career, I reached a career-high ranking of 214 in the world in singles and 138 in doubles on the ATP Tour. As a junior, I was the Wimbledon Junior Champion and competed in the finals of multiple Grand Slam junior events, including the Australian Open and the US Open. During my professional career, I recorded victories over players such as Marat Safin, Mark Philippoussis, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and James Blake.

Following my playing career, I transitioned into professional coaching and have now spent more than two decades working with high-performance athletes, including players on the WTA Tour, helping guide them to achieve career-high rankings and compete successfully at the highest levels of international tennis.

It is within this professional context that I have had the opportunity to know and work with Rafael Font de Mora for many years.

Most recently, during the 2026 season, I had the privilege of working alongside Rafael in connection with Peyton Stearns on the WTA Tour. My experience working with him was extremely positive. Rafael demonstrated a high level of professionalism, dedication, and commitment to the athlete and the team environment. His preparation, attention to detail, and ability to contribute constructively within a high-performance setting were evident throughout our collaboration.

Beyond his professional capability, what stands out most strongly about Rafael is his character. In my experience, he is a person of exceptional integrity, strong moral principles, and genuine respect for others. He consistently conducts himself with professionalism and dignity and treats players, staff, and colleagues with fairness and consideration.

In the demanding and often high-pressure environment of professional sport, character is regularly tested. In Rafael's case, I have consistently observed him act with honesty, responsibility, and respect for those around him. He brings not only knowledge and experience but also a set of values that positively influence the athletes and teams he works with.

From my perspective as both a former professional player and a long-standing coach in international tennis, I can state with confidence that Rafael Font de Mora demonstrates professional conduct, personal integrity, and character of the highest standard. It has been a privilege to work with him, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in offering my full support and strongest possible character reference for Rafael Font de Mora.

Should any further information or clarification be required, I would be happy to provide it.

Sincerely, Wesley Whitehouse
